A woman has been charged with careless driving after a shocking collision on an Auckland motorway on Labour Day.
About 10am on Monday, dashcam footage recorded the incident. The man who supplied the footage, only wishing to be identified as Ryan, says it happened on State Highway 1 near the Esmonde Rd exit.

Prior to the collision, the footage shows the offending vehicle erratically merging - only just missing the front of Ryan's car.
Five minutes later, the driver attempts another lane change before smashing into the vehicle beside, causing it to roll at least five times.
"It was just very shocking to see that," Ryan said. "The car was in the air."
Miraculously, Ryan understood there were no serious injuries.
The driver, a 50-year-old woman, faces a charge of careless driving, causing injury.
She will appear in court next month.
