Armed police have responded to a firearms incident in Invercargill.
A man was found with an apparent gunshot wound on Brown St, just after 7:30pm on Saturday.
The armed offenders squad was sent to the scene, with cordons in place.
Police said anyone who has information should call police on 111, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
