A person has been arrested in relation to a serious assault in a Wellington park.
The 16-year-old will appear in the Lower Hutt Youth Court on Wednesday.
On Friday 6 December armed police descended on Brooklyn's Central Park after reports a woman had been stabbed.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say they are thankful for the assistance from the public and the investigation into the assault is on-going.
