Chocoholics can rejoice this Easter after Cadbury announced the release of Caramilk Easter Eggs in New Zealand.
The tasty treats went on sale in Australia at the end of December, and now the mini eggs are hitting New Zealand shelves in early February, according to a statement by Will Papesch from Cadbury.
The Caramilk Easter Eggs will be sold in two sizes - 110 gram packs for $5.99 and 230 gram packs for $8.49.
Papesch said Cadbury wants to delight Kiwis with a new and delicious way to enjoy a little treat this Easter.
News of the mini eggs' release excited chocolate lovers when a photo of the new packet on a supermarket shelf was posted to the Addicted to Bargains Facebook page.
"I've tried them, and yes they are as delish as you would hope!"
"I'm totally making sure the Easter bunny delivers these to me!"
New Zealanders were also delighted when Caramilk Twirls were introduced in December 2019. They have since become a permanent product in New Zealand.
