A cyclist has been taken to Auckland Hospital after they were seriously injured in a bike crash on Thursday morning.
Police said it was understood the injured cyclist was run over by another cyclist at about 11am on Swanson Rd, West Auckland.
A St John incident report said two ambulances were at the scene and one person was taken to hospital.
The road was partly closed and the serious crash unit was investigating the incident.
