Ministry of Health officials have held a press conference in Wellington to update the public on the coronavirus response.
Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield and Director of Public Health Dr Caroline McElnay answered questions about the virus and New Zealand's response.
The virus has killed 361 people in China and one man in the Philippines.
More than 17,205 cases have been confirmed in China.
There are still no recorded cases in New Zealand.
