A car fire on Auckland's Northern Motorway near Tristram Avenue caused delays this afternoon after emergency services were called to the scene.
The motorway was reduced to one lane after the Tristram Avenue off-ramp on the southbound side.
NZTA has warned motorists on Twitter to "allow extra time for congestion southbound from Greville Rd to ease."
The car fire has now been put out and fire crews have left the scene.
There were no injuries and all lanes are now clear.
