Firefighters are battling a blaze in central Auckland.
Flames can be seen coming from a block of shops on New North Rd, close to MediaWorks.
Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) were called to the scene just after 4:30am, with police and St John ambulance also at the scene.
There has been extensive damage to the building, with FENZ saying the roof had collapsed.
Businesses on each side have also been damaged.
All people in the building are accounted for, however one person has been taken to hospital. It is believed the woman was injured attempting to escape the fire and not in the blaze itself.
The cause of the fire is still not clear, FENZ said.
Auckland Transport said a section of New North Rd, between Mt Eden rd and Charlotte St, had been closed as a result of the fire.
