The Wellington District Court was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a threat.
Cordons were initially in place near the Ballance St building and on Lambton Quay, but those have now lifted.
Police say "nothing of concern" was found following the incident. It was reportedly a bomb threat, but that remains unconfirmed.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
