Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern have given the latest update on New Zealand's COVID-19 response.
Ardern announced exactly what the rules will be when New Zealand moves out of lockdown and into alert level 3.
Bars, restaurants, and cafes will remain closed during alert level 3, but food delivery and takeaway joints can reopen, Ardern confirmed.
