One of New Zealand's 16 coronavirus clusters is now regarded as "closed" with more expected to follow over the coming days.
The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that a COVID-19 cluster linked to a Wellington wedding has had no new cases attached to it for two incubation periods - 28 days in total.
"[The cluster] is now regarded as closed," it said in a statement.
"We expect more clusters to be closed in coming days."
The Wellington wedding cluster has been responsible for 13 cases of COVID-19, 11 of which have now recovered.
There have been five new cases of COVID-19 recorded in New Zealand in the past 24 hours and one more death.
Of the five new cases, four are linked to existing clusters and one is still under investigation. Three are confirmed as COVID-19 and two probable. The total number confirmed as infected in New Zealand is now 1461, with 1118 of those recovered.
