A third person has been charged with the murder of Angela Blackmoore, which took place nearly 25 years ago.
Blackmoore died after being viciously attacked at her home in Wainoni, eastern Christchurch, on August 17, 1995.
A 47-year-old man has now been charged with her murder and will appear in the Queenstown District Court on Wednesday. He's the third person to face charges after Jeremy Powell and a woman, who has continued name suppression, were charged in October.
Powell, 45, pleaded guilty in February and will be sentenced this month.
"We continue to support Angela's family and loved ones through this process," said Detective Senior Sergeant Todd Hamilton.
"As this remains before the courts, we are not in a position to make any further comment."
The original arrests came after police appealed for more information on her death nearly a year ago, offering a $100,000 reward.
