Two people have been charged with murder over the death of Angela Joy Smith in Henderson two weeks ago.
Police had launched a homicide enquiry after Smith was found dead at a property on Great North Road at 1:30am on May 14.
Police searched two properties on Great North Rd and Norcross Ave and at the time said they had "positive lines of enquiry".
Now two men, aged 52 and 58, have been charged on Thursday and are expected to appear in the Waitakere District Court on Friday, Detective Inspector Aaron Proctor says.
"We hope today's arrest offers the victim's family some degree of reassurance during what has been an incredibly difficult time for them."
Smith's family have requested privacy.
