Investigations are underway into two major house fires keeping South Island firefighters awake throughout the night.
Four crews were sent to a well-involved house fire in Seddon, south of Blenheim, at 10am on Sunday.
Meanwhile in Christchurch's New Brighton, heat from a house fire set off a domino reaction, causing a neighbouring home to ignite.
No one was injured in either of the fires.
