A convicted murderer has spent a night on the run in Auckland after escaping from hospital.
Katrina Epiha, 22, was jailed last year for the murder of a Christchurch mother at a party.
She was last seen just after midnight yesterday fleeing from Middlemore Hospital.
She can be identified by tattoos on either side of her face.
Police warn she is dangerous and should not be approached, and told Newshub on Saturday morning they are still looking for her.
