One person's been flown to Whangarei Hospital after a crash on State Highway 1 at Waipu.
Police say a car struck a barrier just after 5am on Saturday.
The road is down to one lane, with delays expected.
And two people were injured - one critically - after a car went into a ditch at Waihaha, west of Taupo, on Friday night.
One patient was taken to Waikato Hospital and the other to Taupo.
So far there have been 246 fatalities on the roads this year. We're on track for the lowest road toll in years, thanks to a massive drop in April during the first coronavirus lockdown.
