An Auckland primary school was placed into lockdown on Thursday after reports of a man making threats and carrying a firearm.
Police were notified about the man acting suspiciously on Sudeley Street in Ōrakei after 12pm.
As a precautionary measure, Ōrakei School went into lockdown for a short period of time.
A spokesperson for the police said officers attended the area and located the man.
