A main highway in Auckland's North Shore has been closed as workers clear a bus that careened off the road and into a ditch.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway after being notified of the incident, which occurred at about 8:45am on Friday.
The Auckland Transport bus was bound for the west Auckland suburb of Westgate from Albany when it veered into the trench on the side of the road.
It's not known how many people were on the bus, but police told Newshub it had not reported any injuries of yet.
Ambulance, fire and police staff are still at the scene as workers clear the bus from the roadside.
Coatesville-Riverhead Highway will be reopened when this has been completed.
