Emergency services are responding to a sudden death in Albert Park near the University of Auckland.
In a statement to Newshub, a police spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to the park at 11:50am on Monday.
"At this stage we are currently making some preliminary enquiries into the incident," said the spokesperson.
In an update later on Monday, Auckland police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A small section of the park has been cordoned off and further enquiries are being conducted on behalf of the Coroner.
