Aucklanders warned about slew of upcoming motorway closures

Aucklanders are warned to "be prepared" for a slew of motorway closures this week, with many busy stretches of road set to undergo improvements.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says the closures from February 21 to 27 will start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated.

"There is a wide range of overnight roadwork closures planned on the Auckland Motorway network for the upcoming week," it says.

"Please note that all overnight motorway closures are subject to weather and other factors and may be cancelled or postponed at late notice."

Anyone travelling on the affected routes is asked to follow the signposted detours.
