Firefighters have responded to a well-involved blaze in a Christchurch flat where a person was treated for serious injuries.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told Newshub three appliances were called to the fire on Curzon Pl in the suburb of Parklands just after 6am on Monday.
One person was removed from the flat and taken to hospital with serious injuries, St John said.
