Aucklanders are being warned to prepare for mass overnight motorway closures kicking in this week from Monday to Thursday.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says there is a wide range of closures planned for Auckland's motorway network between March 15-18, including State Highway 1 southbound between Ramarama and Bombay each night from 10pm.
"Please note that all overnight motorway closures are subject to weather and other factors and may be cancelled or postponed at late notice," it says.
Unless otherwise stated, closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am.
"Please follow the signposted detours. Waka Kotahi thanks you for your co-operation during these essential improvements and maintenance," it says.
"To check for the most current overnight closure information please visit the Journey Planner before you leave."
