Chris Hipkins and Dr Ashley Bloomfield will reveal more details on the border worker who tested positive for coronavirus as they provide an update on the country's latest cases.
The COVID-19 Response Minister and the Director-General of Health will address media from the Beehive following the discovery of the positive case on Monday night.
The person, a worker at the Grand Millenium managed isolation facility in Auckland, was asymptomatic and is now isolating at home along with their immediate family.
