A musician facing charges of sexual offending has kept name suppression at his appearance in the Wellington District Court today.
The 23-year-old was arrested last year as part of Operation Emerald - a police investigation into complaints a group of musicians assaulted and drugged several people.
He has already pleaded not guilty to six charges of sexual violation and two of indecent assault against seven complainants between 2017 and 2020.
His lawyer and the Crown agreed on the need for continued name suppression to protect his right to a fair trial.
This is breaking news - more to come.
