The Duke of Edinburgh, who died overnight, made more than a dozen trips here to New Zealand.
Several of them were solo visits, in which he lent his influence to some of the environmental campaigns that were close to his heart.
And he even weighed in to support New Zealand's anti-nuclear stance.
