Since its inception in 2016, Eat My Lunch has given away 1.6 million lunches and worked with more than 25,000 volunteers to feed Kiwi kids.
But despite the mammoth effort, the organisation still has a waiting list of 90 schools, desperate for their pupils to have access to healthy nutritious meals for free.
General manager Kellie Burbidge told The AM Show the difference a good meal makes to Kiwi children is astounding - and it's been "amazing to watch".
