A Bombay woman has been left horrified after a man masturbated at her while she was on a walk.
In a post to a local community page, the woman said she was walking along Wootten Road around 4:45pm on Thursday when a white ute pulled over on the grass patch ahead of her.
"I didn't think anything of it and kept walking," she said. "As I approached the corner of Fahey road I realised the ute had hidden behind the hedge and a male was out of the parked vehicle facing directly at me playing with his genitals."
The woman said she confronted the man but he didn't stop.
"I asked the male, 'What the f**k are you doing?' and he continued on."
She said the incident was particularly shocking because right across the road is a school drop off point.
"[I] just want everyone to be aware and vigilant."
Locals expressed their horror on social media, with commenters calling the act "disgusting".
One woman said she was going to wait with her daughter at the bus stop from now on.
"What the heck is wrong with people?" another person asked. "Thanks for the heads up."
A police spokesperson confirmed they received a report of a male carrying out an indecent act in public on Wootten Road around 4.50pm.
"The male was reportedly standing near a white Toyota Hilux. A police unit made area enquiries in this location but neither the individual or vehicle were present.
"Police are investigating this matter and we ask for anyone with information about this incident to contact us on 105, quoting job number P046572652 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
