An eighth person has been arrested in connection with the Sofitel Hotel shooting in Auckland last month.
Police arrested the 22-year-old patched Head Hunter on Thursday after three search warrants were carried out across West Auckland.
The person is the second to be charged in connection with the April shooting.
Police confiscated two guns - a shotgun and a military-style semi-automatic firearm during the arrest. Hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a large amount of cash and cannabis were also recovered.
Police say they are still looking into the shooting, and expect further arrests.
