Fire and Emergency services are dampening down hot spots after a house fire in Wellington overnight.
A FENZ spokesperson told Newshub they sent four appliances to the home in Whitby after the fire broke out in the early hours of Friday morning.
They rushed to the blaze at 3:45am and were dampening down hot spots by 5:40am.
There are no reports of injuries, and although the cause of the fire is not known it's not being treated as suspicious.
