Five people have been seriously hurt, two critically, in a single-vehicle crash south of Auckland.
About 12:30am a ute collided with an electric sign at a service station on Glenbrook-Waiuku Rd and rolled, police said.
"Two of the five occupants were ejected from the vehicle and three others were initially trapped. All five were taken to hospital and are reported to be in a serious condition."
Diversions were briefly put in place, but have since been removed.
