A man is in serious condition after being stabbed on a bus in west Auckland.
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident occurred around 4pm on Monday in Henderson.
Two people were seen fleeing the scene after the incident but have since been found. They are now helping with police inquiries.
The spokesperson said the injured man is in a serious condition and is being transported to hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and no one else is currently being sought at this time."
Auckland Transport confirmed the incident occured on one of its buses.
"Auckland Transport is assisting police after an incident on a bus in Henderson this afternoon," a spokesperson said.
"The bus driver immediately called police. The driver was not injured but is in shock and is being looked after."
