A police investigation is underway after an aggravated robbery where a man armed with a knife entered a Masterton petrol station and stole cash.
Police say the offender entered the Masterton Gull station just before 5am on Sunday.
He was brandishing a knife and while the attendant wasn't injured, Det Nick Bunny said they were shaken by the incident - where the offender stole a quantity of cash.
Bunny said police want to hear from anyone who might have information about the robbery.
"Anyone who has any information which may assist police in our investigation is asked to contact 105 and quote event number 210522/9525.
"Information can also be provided anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111."
