One person has died at the scene after a serious crash on Great North Road in Auckland.
Police say the accident was reported at 2.40 pm on Tuesday in Glen Eden and happened at the intersection of Hepburn and Glenview Road.
Officers have confirmed three other people sustained moderate injuries and are being transported to hospital.
Cordons are being put in place and police say they will be there for some time.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and the Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
