Video has emerged of a car on fire on a busy Auckland motorway.
Northbound lanes on State Highway 1 just after the Oteha Valley Rd onramp were blocked earlier on Wednesday, after the car caught fire.
The New Zealand Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi warned just after 1pm that while the car had been cleared, there would still be traffic delays in the area.
A video sent to Newshub shows the car well-alight with thick, black smoke pouring into the air and flames billowing out the windows.
A person can be heard saying "doesn't look very good" as they drive past.
