The COVID-19 Response Minister and Director-General of Health provided an update on New Zealand's COVID-19 situation on Thursday afternoon.
Chris Hipkins and Dr Ashley Bloomfield spoke to the media from the Beehive at 1pm.
The press conference came a day after Wellington's COVID-19 response was escalated to alert level 2, following the news an infected person from Australia had visited the capital over the weekend.
There are no known community cases at this stage.
