Over 130 locations of interest have now been identified in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak, with churches, malls, bars, eateries, shops and cinemas among the hotspots.
The potential exposure sites span both the Super City and the Coromandel, which was visited by the original case, Case A, over the weekend.
Anyone who has been at any of the locations of interest during the relevant time is required to self-isolate and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice.
Anyone who is a household contact of a person who has been at a location of interest is required to isolate at home until a negative test result is returned.
Speaking to The AM Show, Director-General of Health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, reiterated the importance of keeping up-to-date with the latest locations.
"This reflects the demographic of our cases - there are a large number of locations of interest. We need everyone to keep an eye on those," he said.
"Anyone who is an essential worker… if they have been at one of those locations of interest, they need to not go out and about - they need to stay at home and get tested. With the rest of the population in an alert level 4 situation, that is extremely important."
