One dead after van, semi-truck crash near Christchurch

One person has died following a crash in Canterbury on Thursday morning.

The collision took place on Maddisons Road in Rolleston, near Christchurch, just before 5am.

Fire and Emergency say a van and semi-truck were involved in the incident.
