A "significant" amount of jewellery has been stolen from an Auckland store early on Saturday morning.
Police are investigating the break-in at the NorthWest Shopping Centre and Newshub can confirm the store is Pascoes jewellery store.
"Police are looking into a burglary at the NorthWest Shopping Centre in Massey at about 4:30am today," a police spokesperson told Newshub.
"Offenders forced their way into the building, and once inside, into a shop.
"A significant quantity of property was stolen from the shop before the offenders left the area in a vehicle."
Newshub contacted the store, however they refused to comment on the incident.
Pascoes has been at the centre of burglaries lately, with the jewellery chain targeted twice in the last eight days. It follows a string of heists at Michael Hill Jeweller stores over the last year.
