A parked car caught fire in Hamilton on Wednesday, sending smoke and fumes into the air.
A video sent to Newshub shows thick smoke pouring from the bonnet and flames licking the windscreen of the white car while it's parked on the side of Thomas Road in Rototuna.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says crews were called to the blaze at about 2:40pm and the car was well alight when they arrived.
Just one fire engine was at the scene and the blaze was quickly extinguished. No one was in the car or found dead, the spokesperson adds.
