Firefighters have been battling a blaze which broke out at a courier and freight depot in south Auckland on Thursday morning.
Fire and Emergency NZ were called to the fire at the DHL Supply chain building on Highbrook Drive in East Tamaki.
About 20 firefighters attended the scene where they found a forklift in flames inside a 12 metre shipping container.
It has since been extinguished.
A person at the scene told Newshub the whole building was evacuated while the incident unfolded.
It has not been confirmed if any packages were affected by the fire.
