A person has died after a crash involving a vehicle and a truck in west Auckland last night.
The driver of the vehicle died at the scene on Forest Hill Road in Henderson around 9.30pm last night, police have confirmed.
A passenger was taken to hospital in a serious condition with the truck driver sustaining minor injuries.
Part of Forest Hill Road was closed as emergency services cleared the scene but it has since reopened.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
