Adjustments are being made at Mt Ruapehu as ski fields open to the public in COVID-19 alert level 2.
A usual weekend on the slopes draws a crowd of 5000 but with 'Delta alert level 2' restrictions, that's reduced by a half.
Whakapapa ski area manager Steve Manunui says there are minor changes to keep in mind.
