A Whakatāne woman who had no idea she was pregnant has revealed she and her family are in shock after she gave birth to a baby boy.
Karla Akuhata gave birth to her "miracle baby" Tamarangi on her bedroom floor last week.
She thought she was just having really bad period cramps as she hadn't shown any signs of being pregnant.
Akuhata told The AM Show none of her friends and family can believe it.
