A man has died following a "workplace incident" at an Auckland construction site, police say.
He was injured and died at the scene on Carlton Gore Rd in the central Auckland surburb of Newmarket.
Police say they were told of the incident just after 1pm on Tuesday.
"An investigation is underway and WorkSafe has been notified," they say.
"No further information is available at this stage."
WorkSafe has confirmed it has been told about the incident and a spokesperson says they are making initial inquiries to determine their next steps.
