One motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car last night in Kauri, north of Whangārei.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Richards Road just after 6.30pm.
Police say the motorbike rider was taken to Whangārei Hospital in a critical condition but died from their injuries.
