Police are making enquiries after reports of dangerous driving at a Porirua gang tangi on Monday.
A procession was held following the death of Rikki Enoka, who was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Johnsonville last Monday.
Hundreds gathered to remember the 18-year-old, many wearing Mongrel Mob colours and insignia, despite alert level 2 rules preventing over 100 people meeting for a tangi.
Police told Newshub they have been monitoring the event, and while they have not made any arrests today they will continue to make enquiries.
"The majority of those partaking in the procession behaved within the road rules, however at times some of the group drove dangerously putting themselves and others at risk," a spokesperson told Newshub.
"Police want to thank the public for their patience as the convoy caused some disruption to traffic."
Anyone with information or who has witnessed concerning behaviour is encouraged to report it to police by phoning 105.
