A man has been charged with manslaughter two years after a body was pulled from Auckland harbour.
Joniero Irving, 25, faces charges relating to the death of James Jenkins, who went missing in the water by Auckland's ferry terminal in 2019.
Irving entered no plea and was remanded on bail.
Police said at the time of his disappearance in 2019 that Jenkins entered the water near the ferry terminal at about 4:30am on October 7. His body was found a few days later.
Jenkins was seen talking to two men before he went into the water.
Jenkins' death was ruled as suspicious by police at the time.
