New Zealand is in for scorching summer-like conditions next week as Australia ships its hot and humid air over to us.
"Get ready for some summer-like warmth as we go through the next seven days! It'll be humid too, particularly in the North Island," NIWA says.
"From Tuesday onward, it will be well into the 20s. The country will probably experience its first 30C readings of the spring season between Thursday-Saturday."
A MetService temperature map shows that roasting hot air will drive up the mercury all around the country.
"Take a look at Monday's daytime highs," MetService says.
"Inland Canterbury, Otago and Southland reaching the mid-twenties, while temperatures over eastern North Island finally get back to normal thanks to a bit more sunshine tomorrow."
Twizel is set to be the hottest main centre - with 27C forecast on Monday. Meanwhile, Wanaka will bask in 25C.
In the North Island, Auckland is expected to hit 22C on Monday while Masterton rises to 24C.
