There were 146 new cases on Wednesday, a small increase in Tuesday's three-week low of 134.
Aside from the daily case numbers, you may have missed the details of the Ministry of Health's latest update.

Locations of cases
Of Wednesday's 146 new cases, 124 are in Auckland, 14 in Waikato, and four each in Bay of Plenty and Nelson-Marlborough.
Auckland
The exact location of Auckland's cases is not reported by the Ministry of Health.
There are 3993 people isolating at home, including 1064 cases.
Waikato
Of Waikato's 14 new cases, seven are in Te Kūiti, two in Huntly, two in Ōtorohanga, one each in Hamilton and Ngāruawāhia, and one location under investigation.
Six cases have been linked to previous cases and the remainder are under investigation.
Two cases that were under investigation yesterday have now been confirmed as being in Te Anga.
There are two COVID-positive patients in Waikato Hospital ICU.
A total of 119 cases are isolating at home.
Bay of Plenty
All four of Wednesday's cases are in the Tauranga area.
They are all close contacts of previously reported cases and they are self-isolating at home.
There is also an "emerging cluster" at Te Akau ki Papamoa School, the Ministry of Health says.
As of 9am on Wednesday, five people associated with the school have tested positive.
The school was closed on Tuesday as a result. Additional testing is being set up at the school in response to the expected demand.
"Toi Te Ora Health, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education have been working closely with the school since the first case was identified and will continue to support the school," the ministry says.
MidCentral
There is one new case in Manawatū. This case was initially under investigation and was confirmed after the Ministry of Health's 9am cut-off time.
It will be officially added to case numbers on Thursday.
Public health staff are continuing to interview the person, who is understood to live in Waikato and work in Manawatū.
Nelson-Tasman
Wednesday's new Nelson-Tasman case isn't yet linked to an existing case, but there is an investigation into a possible source.
Three cases referred to in Tuesday's statement have been officially added to Wednesday's tally.
This takes the number of active cases in Nelson to four, all of which are isolating.

Hospitalisations
There are 83 COVID-positive people in hospital. Of these, 35 are in Auckland City, 31 in Middlemore, 15 in North Shore, and two in Waikato.
Nine people are in an intensive care or high dependency unit - four in Middlemore, two each in Auckland City and Waikato, and one in North Shore.
The average age of hospitalisations is 46.
The vaccination status of current hospitalisations - which includes Northern Region wards only - is:
- Unvaccinated or not eligible - 53 cases or 70 percent
- Partially immunised and less than seven days from second dose or have only received one dose - 10 cases or 13 percent
- Fully vaccinated for at least seven days before being reported as a case - 12 cases or 16 percent
- Unknown - 1 case or 1 percent.
