There were 80 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, a slight decrease compared with the past two days' numbers.
Aside from the daily case numbers, you may have missed the details of the Ministry of Health's latest update.

Locations of cases
Of Tuesday's 80 new cases, 51 are in Auckland, 21 in Waikato, seven in Bay of Plenty, and one in Lakes.
Auckland
The exact location of Auckland's cases is not reported by the Ministry of Health.
There are 2595 people isolating at home in the city, including 664 cases.
Waikato
Of Waikato's 21 new cases, 11 are in Te Kūiti, three in Tokoroa, two each in Ōtorohanga and Hamilton, and one each in Te Awamutu, Taumarunui, and Huntly.
Eighteen of these have been linked to previous cases and three remain under investigation for links.
Those in the region are encouraged to get tested if they have any symptoms.
Public health staff are supporting 74 people who are isolating at home.
Bay of Plenty
All seven of the Bay of Plenty's new cases are in the Tauranga area.
One is linked to a previously reported case while the other cases are still being investigated for potential links.
Lakes
The Lakes' one new case is in the Taupō district and is linked to a previously reported case.
Canterbury
There is one new case in Christchurch that is a close contact of a previously reported case and was already isolating at home when they tested positive.
The case was notified after the morning cut-off and will be officially included in Wednesday's case numbers.
Flight crew in New Zealand close contacts of Omicron case
Several members of a flight crew have been identified as close contacts of an Omicron variant case in Australia.
These crew members arrived in New Zealand last night and are in a MIQ facility, as per standard international air crew arrival procedure.
Air New Zealand has confirmed it isn't its employees that were close contacts.

Hospitalisations
There are 62 COVID-positive people in hospital. Of these, 26 are in Middlemore, 20 in Auckland City, 12 in North Shore, two each in Waikato and Tauranga, and one in Nelson.
Four people are in an intensive care or high dependency unit - two each in Auckland City and Middlemore.
The average age of hospitalised patients is 49.
The vaccination status of current hospitalisations - which includes Northern Region wards only - is:
- Unvaccinated or not eligible - 34 cases or 62 percent
- Partially immunised and it's less than seven days after second dose or has only received one dose - nine cases or 16 percent
- Fully vaccinated at least seven days before being reported as a case - 11 cases or 20 percent
- Unknown - one case or 2 percent.
